Typical:

• Startup-costs are less
• Focus on outsourcing non-critical applications
• Lack of internal technical resources
• Lack of technical expertise

Not so typical:

• Reduced risk of deploying in-house
• Less data volumes
• Fills short term gaps with IT plan (business must go on)
